I currently have sprained foot and thought my odds of getting to take wildlife photographs this weekend would be pretty much a ZERO. Then my husband discovered Emeralda Marsh Conservatory in Lake County, Florida. They happened to have a driving trail that luckily for me was open today (it's seasonal), where we could drive through the marsh on a one-way road built to run right through the marsh. There was an abundance of wildlife and the area is magnificant. I have posted just a few of the over 400 photos I took today on my website. No doubt I will be back there again one day. If you are in the Central Florida area on a good weather day, I highly recommend you see this wonderful natural habitat.
