The weather was not optimal for photographing wildlife this past Sunday. Overcast and drizzling rain. There were not many large birds at Emeralda but we saw some pretty smaller birds. I came across this Boat Tailed Gackle. It was my first experience seeing one of these birds in my lifetime. It was such a pretty bird and very vocal.
