A vintage map of an aerial view of the city of Gainesville, county seat of Cooke County, Texas. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and was drawn by Augustus Koch and published in 1883. Also included, below the map, is a reference list of prominent manufacturers, public buildings and churches in the area at the time. This map has been restored and converted to black and white, but still shows some signs of wear and tear due to age.
