The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This silverback is the dominant male Mountain Gorilla in the Kwitonda group of the Virunga National Park. Kwitonda, which means humble, was named after the dominant male that died in 2012 and now has 23 members. For the hour that we were with these beautiful creatures, the dominant male firmly but gently kept the peace and they all accepted us as members of their family.
